Oct 28, 2016

The FNQLHSSC was invited to participate in a meeting focusing on the health of the world’s indigenous peoples, organized by the Centre interuniversitaire d’études et de recherches autochtones (CIERA) at Université Laval. The purpose of the half-day of meetings and experience-sharing entitled “Perspectives croisées sur la santé autochtone : problématiques, pratiques et localités” (overlapping perspectives on Aboriginal health: problems, practices and localities) was to present and exchange views and perspectives on the issue of the health and well-being of indigenous peoples worldwide.

Speakers having worked with indigenous peoples in Australia and India and others who work with First Nations in Quebec took the floor during this meeting. The FNQLHSSC was invited to present its structure, activities and, more precisely, the activities of the Research Sector.
