• Master Indigeneous Games - The first Games for adults
Oct 11, 2017

Following last July’s North American Indigenous Games (NAIG), it is now the adults’ turn to be invited to participate in major Games. Indeed, from July 12 to 15, 2018, Toronto will be hosting the first Masters Indigenous Games. These games are intended for adults ages 20 years and up. Based on their ages, participants will have the opportunity to register in one of the four categories and compete against other North American athletes in one of the eleven featured sports.

You can register now by visiting the following site:

Unlike with the NAIG, there will be no organized contingent representing team Eastern Door and the North. Everyone is free to register and the teams can train freely, without selection camps. The captain of the team becomes the main contact for the Games. Therefore, there can be more than one team per region in the same sport.

In closing, I encourage you to read the two enclosed informative documents, as they include a significant amount of relevant information.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Geneviève Voyer, Health project development agent. We will be happy to help you.

We look forward to seeing you participate!
