The First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission (FNQLHSSC): Winner of the Grand Prix de l’initiative de formation - Volet milieu de travail de l’Institut de coopération pour l’éducation des adultes (ICÉA) 

On April 22nd, during the second Gala d’attribution des Prix de l’ICÉA en éducation des adultes, the FNQLHSSC received the Grand Prix de l’initiative de formation - Volet milieu de travail for its exemplary initiative of training conducted during the year 2008 with youth workers from 18 Quebec First Nations communities, the Programme court de 1er cycle en intervention jeunesse autochtone (PCIJA). The implementation of this initiative was made possible through the partnership and kind cooperation with the CESAM, Centre du savoir sur mesure, relevant teaching and research units at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), Health Canada, the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, and the Aboriginal Health Human Resources Initiative (AHHRI).
