On October 7 and 8, 2015, the first meeting of the coordinators for early childhood mobilization projects took place in the city of Québec. Coordinators, hailing from the communities of Nutashkuan, Ekuanitshit, Uashat mak Mani-Utenam, Pessamit, Obedjiwan, Wemotaci, Mashteuiatsh, Wendake, Odanak, Pikogan, Lac-Simon, Timiskaming and Kitcisakik, came together to touch base and equip themselves to provide better support to their respective focus groups.

During the meeting, the coordinators—dedicated women!—were able to discuss their projects and receive training in areas that were of most concern to them. Mobilization, reporting and tool sharing were the order of the day. This meeting also presented FNQLHSSC employees with a wonderful opportunity for intersectoral collaboration, and they came, as always, ready to work together in a spirit of teamwork to meet the needs of their clientele.
