This is their campaign!

As part of Aboriginal AIDS Awareness Week, December 1 to 5, 2014, the FNQLHSSC, in collaboration with the First Nations Education Council (FNEC) and the Institut Tshakapesh, held a contest “This is my campaign,” for First Nations youths in Quebec. This contest invited secondary school students to create an awareness campaign for the prevention of sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs).

The FNQLHSSC is pleased to present the winning team, comprised of three young students from Kitigan Zibi Kikinamadinan School: Alyssa Cote, Haylee Nottaway and Austin Commanda, who worked under the supervision of their teacher, David M. Gilbert. As of December 1, 2015, it is THEIR campaign that will be launched and disseminated throughout the communities in Quebec, so you’ll have the opportunity to see for yourself all the talent and technological dexterity that went into the end result.

Do not hesitate to promote their campaign materials on your network!
