Areas of intervention
With its staff of close to 90 persons, the FNQLHSSC has
grown dramatically since its creation in 1994 and has
been restructured since that time. Every staff number,
from the Executive Director to program officers, sector managers and support staff, fulfils well defined and
coordinated tasks. We have created a rigorous work
framework that has resulted in professionalism, competence
and dynamism combined with the desire of all employees
to help improve the living conditions of the First
Nations. Thanks to the dedication of its
employees and to its highly effective network for the
collection and exchange of information, the Commission
has become a credible partner and an important
influence in the field of health and social services.
